Summer is Ice-Dyeing Season!

Don't you just love Summer? We sure do! While ice-dyeing is fabulous in the wintertime also (due to nature's ice in the form of snow and icicles), summertime aids in ice melt and warm batching temperatures! The ability to tie dye outside frees up room in the house! Winter ice-dyeing often requires stacking items wherever a heater vent is available to melt the ice and batch appropriately, which can lend itself to clutter, spills and accidents, and upset family members LOL! There is just something joyous about ice-dyeing outside in the summer, explaining to the neighbors what you are doing (in full mask and respirator gear!), and getting those beautiful water-color results in a timely fashion!
